Honoring my clients' stories is the foundation of my therapeutic work. I pride myself on the ability to create a safe environment in which each client can experience a non-judgmental space to grow. I treat each client as a unique individual and empower clients to find their own paths to growth and development.
Treating the whole person is essential, so I use a strengths-based approach with a holistic model focused on wellness. I consider therapy a collaborative effort; I help clients find the answers within themselves. I use an integrative framework incorporating mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic theories.
I specialize in working with those who identify on the LGBTQ spectrum and have a significant interest in working with trans* and gender-variant people. I understand that people operate outside of a binary and believe in the fluidity of identity. I use an affirmative approach in all my therapeutic work.

During my ten years in the mental health field I have been honored to work with an extremely diverse range of people from many walks of life. I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling from the nationally ranked Ohio State University Counselor Education program. I am an independently licensed clinical counselor with a supervisory credential.
